The second version, aromatic basil hummus is full of magnificent aromas. Beautiful green colour, fresh and fragrant it’s a love at first bite, just give it a go.
What you need:
- 200g precooked chickpeas
- 6 tbsp tahini paste
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 70g basil leaves (or add to taste)
- fresh juice of 1 lemon
- salt
- water if needed
How to make it:
Simply blend it all and in order of the ingredients here listed. If the lemon juice is not enough for the smooth texture, add a bit of water and you are done! As all hummus this one can be kept in the fridge for some 5 days, sealed in a glass jar and with some olive oil to keep it fresh.
