I created these individual sessions for all of you seeking concrete answers and solutions for yourselves — or simply wish to develop a more intimate and gentle relationship with your body, to understand its language, and learn to rely on the innate wisdom of your female body.

Inspired by the infinite wisdom and uniqueness of the female body, I developed three types of individual sessions that bring together all of my knowledge and experience in working with the body:


FREE BREATH

Breath-centered yoga and breathwork sessions for releasing physical and respiratory tension

Our bodies carry trauma. And at the same time, they hold the key to recovery and the wisdom of healing — the power of nature and of life itself.

The female body also holds stories of emotional heritage.

And for those of you who are here for the first time, let me introduce myself:

My name is Jelena Malenović and I’ve been practicing yoga for nearly thirty years, ten of which have been dedicated to working with others.

I’ve devoted my long-term practice to the therapeutic effects of yoga — focusing especially on the development of interoception, breath and breathwork, anatomy, and various somatic approaches to nervous system regulation.

The methods I use include breath-centered yoga, Ayurveda and hormonal yoga, meditation, and somatic or embodiment practice.

In addition to yoga, I study somatic movement and embodied anatomy, which I integrate into my teaching.
I’m currently enrolled in the BMC Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen Winter Series 2025, focusing on the endocrine system and energetic centers along the spine.
I’ve followed Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen’s work for years — she is one of my greatest inspirations in the field of somatics.

Since 2018, I’ve been studying yoga anatomy and breathing at Yoga Anatomy School in New York, mentored by Leslie Kaminoff, one of the world’s leading experts in this field. I’m completing both levels of study (18 months total), and Leslie remains my active teacher to this day — for the ninth year now.

In addition to these two pioneers in yoga and somatic work, I draw inspiration from teachers like Amy Matthews, Gil Hedley, Irene Lyon, Dr. Robert Svoboda, and Dr. Claudia Welch, among others.

I’m certified by the International Yoga Academy of the Yoga Alliance of Serbia as an instructor of Hatha Yoga (2017), Hormonal Balance Yoga (2018), and Yoga Nutrition.

My approach is holistic and centered on practical effects that make everyday life easier.
I believe every body is unique, and I guide each session — including group ones — with personal adaptation, so that everyone receives exactly what they need and can enjoy their practice safely, regardless of previous experience, flexibility, or body shape.

Žensko telo je priča i o emotivnom nasleđu. Naša tela, naši organi, zarobljene emocije, nervni sistem, pričaju priče o poverenju u život, o brigama, izdajama, strahovima, ljutnjama, gubicima, umoru. Istovremeno, naša tela govore o nadi, radosti, pobedama, vezama koje stvaramo, nežnosti, dobroti i ljubavi kojom bojimo ovaj svet.

Zamislite, kako bi se kretali, odmarali, radovali, povezivali sa drugima; kakav bi bio osećaj živeti u telu bez stalnih neprijatnih tenzija? U telu koje može da oseti čitav spektar iskustava i ostane izvor sigurnosti.

Telo kao sigurno mesto. Telo u kojem je udobno. Telo prijatelj podrška oslonac.

Zovem se Jelena Malenović i jogom se bavim tridesetak godina od kojih poslednjih deset u radu sa ljudima.

Anatomiju joge i disanja usavršavam od 2018. u Yoga Anatomy školi iz New York-a pod mentorstvom Leslie Kaminoff-a, jednog od najpriznatijeg stručnjaka iz ove oblasti u svetu danas. Ovde završavam oba nivoa studija (18 meseci školovanja) a Leslie je aktivno moj učitelj i danas, već devetu godinu.

Osim ova dva doajena u oblasti joge i rada sa telom, učitelji čija učenja su mi uzori i inspiracija su i Amy Matthews, Gil Hedley, Irene Lyon, Dr.Robert Svoboda, Dr. Claudia Welch, da pomenem neke.

U Međunarodnoj joga akademiji Joga saveza Srbije sertifikovala sam se za instruktora Hatha joge (2017), joge hormonalne ravnoteže (2018) i joga ishrane.

Moj pristup je holistički i usmeren na one efekte prakse koji mogu da olakšaju svakodnevni život. Vodim se principom da je svako telo jedinstveno pa tako i vodim praksu prilagođavajući je ličnim potrebama da svako može da dobije baš ono što mu je potrebno i bezbedno uživa u praksi bez obzira na prethodno iskustvo u vežbanju, fleksibilnost ili oblik tela.
