Hammock Zen Restorative Aerial Sessions

Hammock Zen is a unique nourishing treatment for deep relaxation using support of low aerial hammocks, revitalising ondulation, gentle movements and breath.

Sundays 19.00 at Supaerial studio

Hammock Zen is a unique blend of restorative aerial yoga and breathwork that unlocks deep relaxation and myofascial release, supporting nervous system regulation and full-body regeneration.

Restorative poses are known for stimulating the part of the nervous system responsible for deep relaxation and natural regeneration. Supported by the silks, with gentle rocking and trigger point release, this treatment soothes the mind and melts away tension in the body.

In addition to surrendering to the divine calming sway, you may experience Hammock Zen as:

  • stress release and cortisol reduction
  • nervous system balancing
  • muscle relaxation from tension and chronic tightness
  • relief from anxiety
  • better sleep
  • improved mood
  • rest and rejuvenation

As I mentioned, beyond the movements and poses that directly affect muscles and tissues, there is also the gentle soothing rocking that has especially beneficial effects on the whole being — imagine floating peacefully on the surface of a quiet lake.

“I felt fantastic both yesterday and today after that floating! The sense of lightness lasts much longer than after yoga, swimming, stretching… I’m thrilled!”
Simonida

Who is Hammock Zen for?

Hammock Zen is accessible to everyone and doesn’t require special physical fitness. The hammock is adjusted to your body, and it’s generally set low so that part of your body is always grounded during the session — except at the end, when we fully lie in the hammock and surrender to its soothing sway.

It’s ideal whenever you need:

  • immediate deep release and stress relief
  • post-training recovery, especially after strength training
  • a way to tune in and find a safe place within yourself

About Me

If this is your first time here, allow me to introduce myself:

My name is Jelena Malenović, and I’ve been practicing yoga for around thirty years, the last ten of which I’ve dedicated to working with people.

My long-standing practice is devoted to understanding and applying yoga in everyday life, especially exploring its therapeutic effects — with a focus on the power of breath in responding to various psychophysical conditions brought on by modern living.

I first encountered yoga in my twenties, exploring different styles to help myself and find the most effective anti-stress therapy for my body and mind, particularly to ease symptoms of cervical syndrome, spondylosis, and arthritis in my knees, which I live with.

I’m certified by the International Yoga Academy of the Yoga Federation of Serbia as an instructor of Hatha yoga, Hormonal Balance Yoga, and Yoga Nutrition.

Since 2018, I’ve been deepening my knowledge of yoga anatomy and breath through the Yoga Anatomy School in New York under the mentorship of Leslie Kaminoff, one of the world’s leading experts in this field. I’m completing both levels of this 18-month program, and Leslie remains an active mentor to this day.

In addition to yoga, I study various forms of somatic movement and embodied anatomy. I’m currently attending the BMC Winter Series 2025 by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, focusing on the endocrine system and energy centers along the spine.

My approach is holistic and focused on how these practices can ease everyday life. I believe every body is unique — so even in group sessions, I adapt the practice to individual needs, ensuring everyone gets exactly what they need and can safely enjoy the practice, regardless of previous experience, flexibility, or body shape.
